About Drunken Duel

Drunken Duel is a one-button western standoff between two wobbling ragdolls. Each player has a single key, timing is everything, and the loser tends to fall over in a way that is funnier than the win. Matches take seconds, which is exactly the point.

It sits in the same family as Rooftop Snipers and Drunken Boxing: minimal controls, exaggerated physics, and enough randomness that neither player can dominate for long. It is a couch game that happens to run in a browser.

How to play Drunken Duel

Two players share the keyboard, one key each.
Press your key to aim and fire — hold to line the shot up, release to take it.
Land the hit before your opponent does; both of you are equally wobbly.
Win rounds to take the match.

Tips for Drunken Duel

Do not fire the instant the round starts — the aim is still swinging and the shot will miss.
Watch your own figure, not your opponent. Your shot lands where your arm happens to be pointing.
A shorter hold usually beats a perfect one, because your opponent is fighting the same wobble.
Best played against a person sitting next to you.
